It is accessible via a 1.5-hour ride from Miri via the Coastal Road, the Pan-Borneo Highway. Tourists need to travel on a brief boat ride from the Park’s Headquarters to reach the foothills of the Niah Cave. Attractions such as the Caves at Niah National Park are conveniently accessible by wooden walkways and stairs.
Travelling by road through coastal roads will enable one to see and experience notable landmarks such as the Sg Niah and Sg Sibuti bridges, Tusan Beach, Kampung roadside stalls, eateries and palm oil plantations.
Tourists will travel past young terrace formed by sandstone deposits containing fossils fringing the Miri coastline from Miri to Bekenu.
A brief boat ride is required to take tourists from Sarawak Forestry HQ to the foothills of the Niah cave.
